Vente de l'œuvre décrite comme [[A Magnificent Landscape, representing rising ground with trees and cottage, a man on horseback riding on the brow of the hill, and other figures, to the left, in the background, the spire of a church and cottages, with his name and date. The accompanying Etching will give some idea of the subject of this picture, which is enriched with figures from the pencil of Lingleback (John Wynants)|A Magnificent Landscape, representing rising ground with trees and cottage, a man on horseback riding on the brow of the hill, and other figures, to the left, in the background, the spire of a church and cottages, with his name and date. The accompanying Etching will give some idea of the subject of this picture, which is enriched with figures from the pencil of Lingleback]] réalisée par John Wynants, vendue par Thomas Sivright Esq au prix de 47.5 gs. Vente de l'œuvre décrite comme [[Venus disarming Cupid, an undoubted and well known picture by this great Master, in a rich tone of colour and in perfect preservation. At Lord Eldin's sale it was well observed that "it would be difficult to meet with a more charming specimen of this distinguished ornament of the Venetian School, whose Cabinet Pictures are of the greatest rarity." Engraved in Lucien Buonaparte's Gallery. 1 f. 9 in. by 1 f. 9 in. on canvass (Paul Veronese)|Venus disarming Cupid, an undoubted and well known picture by this great Master, in a rich tone of colour and in perfect preservation.
