Vente de l'œuvre décrite comme [[The celebrated lamp, exceeding fine, ornamented with a great number of elegant figures, a mahogany carved pedestal, &c. -- Mentioned thus by Dr. Chauncy. "The antique Greek lamp in my possession, was formerly Cardinal Mazarin's; then Cobert's, from whom it descended to his son the Count Sequilai, of whom Mr. Prior bought it for a present to his patron Lord Orderd.
