The Buildings are crowned with some Trees, and backed by a Hill thickly covered with underwood. A Boat with a Fisherman in it, is seen under a Meadow-bank on the right. This charming composition is treated with the finest effect of chiaro scuro, and is one of the very powerful productions of his pencil.
