A.D. 1609 "Henry having now, by the Death of Perkin and the Earl of Warwick, secured his crown against all Pretenders, Ferdinand of Arragon sent over his daughter Catherine, who, arriving in England in the month of October, was married to Arthur Prince of Wales, and the nuptials were solemnized at London with great magnificence, on the 14th of November, the Prince being then in the 16th year of his age and the Lady about 18." The subject of this picture is a Banquet some months after the marriage; the characters are King Henry, his Queen, Arthur Prince of Wales and his consort Catherine, Prince Henry, Bishop Fox, &c.
