This picture was presented by the King to Rubens, and formed a part? of that great painter's collection. At his death, he directed it should not be sold, but remain in his family. Through the intervention of M. Heris, of Brussels, (a connoisseur, whose reputation extends throughout Europe), Mr. O'Neil was enabled to purchase this treasure of art of Madame Vinck, a lineal descendant of Sir P.P. Rubens (A.
