Vente de l'œuvre décrite comme [[The Emperor Charles V. attended by German, Spanish, and Italian Princes and Nobles, receiving deputies from Asia, Africa, and America. In the background are detached groups, showing the various costumes of the different nations of the earth. A highly interesting picture, painted with extreme care, and although of a Gothic character, possessing great beauty of colour. The figures behind the Emperor are all evidently portraits, but their names are not known.
