Married 1826 Lady Louisa Erskine, sister to Marquess of Anglesee and widow of Lieut. General Sir J. Erskine Bart. and died July 28th 1846. He afterwards becme a General & Governor of Port George. He was also knighted with the order of Grand Commander of the Bath and made a Privy Councillor (J. Hoppner)|Port. of Col. Geo.
